The Post Office at Glasgow Road, Blantyre is changing in ownership.
After many years’ service, the current owner is retiring and Blantyre businessman, David Agnew is confirmed as the new postmaster. Final preparations are underway.
The Post office will remain at the back of the convenience store, though the store itself will receive a significant renovation.
David told us this week, “Existing Post Office staff will of course get to keep their jobs. I’m looking forward to offering Blantyre residents a continued quality service and would like to thank the existing owners for their hard work.“ Here’s wishing David and the Post Office Staff all the very best for the future.
