Residents at the end of Station Road are experiencing a parking issue which is affecting deliveries and potentially their safety.
As many people take to parking up at the Livingstone Bridge heading out on walks, when double parked, it’s meant some larger delivery vehicles have not been able to squeeze through to get to the flats and houses. It means also not enough room for emergency services to get through too.
Residents have asked for a wee message to highlight, asking for more mindful parking in the area.
One woman told us, “My oil delivery could not be made due to badly parked cars on Saturday. Much as this is inconvenient, it could have been much worse if it had been an ambulance or fire engine which had not been able to get down.”
