Repairs to the road surfaces through Bent Cemetery in Hamilton are scheduled to take place next week.
The essential work will be carried out from Wednesday 24 to Thursday 25 March.
Pedestrian access will be maintained but it is expected that there will unfortunately be some unavoidable disruption along the main avenues while the work is being carried out.
No funerals will take place during the period of the works.
Head of Facilities Waste and Grounds Services Alistair McKinnon said: “The resurfacing work is essential to make sure that everyone accessing the cemetery will be able to do so safely.
“Every effort will be made to allow members of the public to access all areas of the cemetery whilst these essential repairs are carried out.
“Once the work has been completed we hope the new surfaces will make visiting loved ones easier for everyone attending the cemetery.”
