‘Stay at Home’ Changed Today

After us all being confined to home, Scotland’s ‘Stay at home’ rule which has been in place for more than three months has finally been lifted.

From today, 2nd April 2021, residents in Scotland can once again explore beyond their local streets, being able to leave towns and get out and about to explore.

That’s great news, especially with the sun forecasted to be shining this Easter Weekend. However, People all over Scotland have been told to “stay local” and to remain within their local authority boundaries for the next three weeks.

Being able to stay within local authority region is most welcome and should get people out and about again. Here in Blantyre, we’re blessed to be in rather a large local authority in South Lanarkshire, with plenty of beautiful places to explore beyond our town.

Stay safe!
