Cafes, Pubs & Restaurants

Tomorrow, Monday 26th April 2021 Scotland will see many changes as many covid restrictions get lifted.

One of the most anticipated changes is in Hospitality, a sector which has been badly affected by lockdown. Signs are buoyant however with many people saying that going back to the pub or out for a meal is what they’re looking forward to doing again most.

So, from tomorrow Monday 26th April cafes, pubs and restaurants will reopen again though there will be rules around curfew alcohol consumption. Hospitality venues will be able to serve food indoors until 8pm, but alcohol is only permitted outdoors.

Takeaways can also resume normal service indoors, rather than from hatches or dooways, with physical distancing and face masks still to be worn in premises.
