Continuing our look at some of the changes coming tomorrow for Scotland this time exploring Gatherings and Indoor Attractions.
One of the most difficult things about lockdown has been the restricted numbers at funerals and weddings. The number of people allowed at these gatherings will change from tomorrow, Monday 26th April 2021 so that 50 people can congregate. This will include post-funeral events and receptions, with alcohol permitted. Numbers are set to rise further in May and into June if the medical advice permits and downwardly virus case trends continue.
There’s better news too for Galleries , Museums and Libraries which will now also be allowed to reopen their doors. However, Movie fans and gamers will have to wait a little longer for cinemas and amusement arcades which are expected to return in May.
Further restrictions will be lifted on May 17, when the whole of Scotland is due to enter Level 2.
