It’s with sadness we recently learned of the passing of local woman, Helen Kelly, who sadly passed away on 23rd April 2021.
Helen was a much respected member of the community and chairperson of the June Stewart Hall in High Blantyre. She was 68 years old and had lived in High Blantyre for 49 years.
Her daughter Tracey told us, “We’re all totally heartbroken. Due to the recent restrictions, a lot of her friends may not know this news and may not have heard of her passing. My mum leaves behind myself and my sister Geraldine. Sadly we lost our youngest sister Laura in December 2019. Mum also had 14 grandkids and 1 great grandkid.”
Tracey continued, “Thanks to Hairmyres Hospital, my mum’s carers from All New Beginnings, the district nurses and our neighbours.”
Helen’s funeral will take place on Wednesday 12th May at 10.00am at South Lanarkshire Crematorium.
