The re-opening of Blantyre Leisure Centre Pool has slipped a couple of days.
The Blantyre pool, just off John Street, was due to reopen on Monday 8th November after being closed since March 2020. However, doors will be reopening again now on Wednesday 10th November 2021 instead.
A spokesperson for SLC Culture and Leisure added, “We know you are all desperate to come back so just another week to wait. Please bear with us. We can’t wait for our pool to be open again.”
Opening times for the main pool will be available shortly in a forthcoming timetable.
The small teaching pool is re-opening too but not for general swimming. It will be available for lessons only between 10.30am – 3pm.
