Blantyre’s Christmas Lights will be switched on tomorrow, Sunday 21st November!
A big weekend is here for nearby towns and Blantyre as Festive lights get switched on. The festivities are a little earlier this year and start today, Saturday 20th November with Hamilton currently hosting a xmas market culminating in their lights being switched on later this afternoon. Lanark’s event is also taking place today.
Tomorrow, Sunday 21st November is the turn of East Kilbride Village with their lights switched on at 5pm. Blantyre’s lights will switch on quietly and remotely at 4.15pm on Sunday both at Glasgow Road and High Blantyre, though no event is taking place this year.
