To those who are still thinking Christmas is some time off, a sharp reminder tonight that it’s not, as High Blantyre’s Christmas Lights got switched on.
The Council remotely switched on Main Street Christmas Street Lights and the Kirkton Christmas tree lights at High Blantyre earlier this afternoon. Glasgow Road’s tree and lights will be switched on tomorrow, Sunday 21st November 2021 at 4.15pm. Great to see some decent sized trees this year for Blantyre!
Christmas is in 5 weeks from today and as they say…now the lights are going on, things are looking very festive!
