Some cold and windy weather coming this week. Things are set to cool down this week and may even see some wintry snow showers by the weekend.
Thursday will be a widely sunny day in Central Scotland but chilly and breezy. A northerly flow will push further showers in, these increasingly wintry and snowy down to lower levels in northern Scotland.
Friday is set to be very unsettled and chilly, with outbreaks of blustery rain likely in places. Conditions will worsen overnight with strong gale force winds which will continue unsettled into Saturday. Batten down the hatches!
