A bit of a lull in the wind tonight (Saturday), as Storm Malik heads out over the North Sea and away.
Winds are lessening and skies are clearing over Central Scotland, which may cause some morning frost tomorrow. After a chilly start on Sunday and some sunshine, things are going to deteriorate in the afternoon with the wind picking back up.
Storm Corrie is expected on Sunday afternoon and into Monday. Winds are expected to be of similar strength, endangering life again.
Storm Malik sadly killed a 60 year old woman in Aberdeen and unfortunately, news of a 9 year old boy being killed by a tree in Staffordshire is tonight, breaking National news now too. As we offer sympathies to those families this evening, we hope everybody else stays safe.
