It’s election day and the polling stations are now open! Your local polling station will be open until 10pm tonight, Thursday 5th May 2022.
Here’s wishing all the candidates standing today the very best of luck, as we all put our trust in them to do what’s best for Blantyre. Here in Scotland, voting will take place for all 32 councils with 1,227 councillors to be elected, 3 of which will be in the Blantyre Ward 15 area.
There’s no overnight count, but instead results will be known tomorrow, Friday.
