Unfortunately a major food takeaway business has decided to close its doors in High Blantyre.
Canadian Coffee giant “Tim Hortons” is closing their doors permanently at Hamilton Technology Park with immediate effect. Signs have already been posted at the large corner unit in the small retail park, advertising the property “to let” with Tim Hortons putting up posters advising customers of their decision.
Tim Hortons opened in December 2017 and admittedly has had to compete with Greggs being next door. We have approached their management asking for further information. Meantime, the nearest Tim Hortons is now at East Kilbride.
