Midsummer Solstice

It’s Tuesday 21st June 2022, which means today is the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year.

The summer solstice marks the date of the longest period of daylight and the shortest night of the year, when the Earth’s north pole has its maximum tilt towards the sun. Traditionally known as Midsummer, it means from today, the nights will once again slowly start to get darker again earlier.

Meantime, the warmer season has still a long way to go! Here’s hoping for some nice, dry and warm weather in the second half of summer.
