The Western Desert Recce Group, based at High Blantyre held their 3rd Military Collectors Fair today, Sunday 26h June 2022.
The event took place at their premises in Blantyre Industrial Estate, High Blantyre and was well attended, especially in the morning. Volunteers manned the stalls and there were plenty of exhibits on display including popular attractions like the renovated military vehicles.
Visitors were able to inspect the round robin stands, with volunteers talking about the WW1 and WW2 desert campaigns, the Light Car Patrols, Long Range Desert Group and the early SAS. Thank you to everybody involved for another successful event.
