Breaking: RIP Andy Goram

Former Scotland and Rangers goalkeeper Andy Goram has sadly died of cancer at the age of 58.

Goram who co owned the Stonefield Tavern in Blantyre for a time, was capped 43 times for his country at football and four times at cricket – the only Scot to have played at the top level at both sports.

Of course, he is most well known for helping Rangers Football Club win five Scottish Premier League titles, three Scottish Cups and two League Cups.

Our thoughts go out to all his family, friends and colleagues at this sad time.
