July has got off to a rainy and windy start in Central Scotland, not much change from most of June, so we could all do with a bit of sun and warmth about now.
Next week is looking much better and brighter, with some summer warm temperatures finally arriving. As a ridge of High Pressure approaches, temperatures in the Glasgow are expected to climb to around 23 degrees by Monday, even higher if you’re in the East.
However, further west in Argyll and the Islands, it could remain cloudy and cooler. Weather is expected to be generally settled otherwise next week.
