It’s with sadness we learn of the passing of local woman, Jean Brunker, who passed away last night, Wednesday 13th July 2022. She was 87 years of age.
Jean will be be sorely missed by all her loving family and we’re sure also by many members of the community after her continued support and worship at the Blantyre Old Parish Church. Of particular note was her incredible dedication to running the ‘Wee Care Club’ for adults with additional support needs for almost 40 years! She was beloved wife to Robert, mother to Steven, Diane, Alan, Nyree and Melanie, Grandmother to 8 and great grandmother of 4 boys.
Our sympathies go out to the family at this sad and difficult time.
