Zara Dawn MaGowan recently took over Kooki music baby and toddler classes in Blantyre.
Classes are now running from Blantyre Old Parish Church on a Tuesday and Thursday.
Zara told Blantyre Telegraph, “We have a toddler class at 10am and a baby class at 11am. Little Kooki (our puppet) takes the children on a musical and sensory adventure each week and each week we have a new theme.”
“The classes are designed to help children develop their social & motor skills and language development & enhance their sensory development . They are a great way for parents to bond with their little ones in a shared experience .”
“Myself and my business partner Joanne have over 20 years experience working in the early years sector but it wasn’t until I had my little one last year that I fully appreciated the importance of classes like these to not only participate in new learning experiences with my little one but also having the opportunity to meet up with other families with children of similar ages.”
“Our classes are a safe and welcoming space where parents/grandparents can come along with their little ones and have some fun and the opportunity for some social time and a chat with other adults.”
Booking is essential. There is the option to book a block or just book in for a trial class. Link here:
