Heather Denham is holding a rave night to raise funds for Baby Loss Retreat.
They are a North Lanarkshire based charity who cover the whole of Scotland and support families after the loss of a baby whether it was miscarriage, stillbirth, IVF or neonatal death. They provide counselling, trauma therapy, Listening Music Therapy for siblings and 2 days away at one of the retreats in Scotland. All completely free of charge.
Heather told Blantyre Telegraph, “The charity relies heavily on fundraising to provide these services which is why I want to get this event out there as much as possible.”
“I lost my baby girl Jorgia at 20 weeks. I went for my routine scan to be told she had no heartbeat. We were devastated. Baby Loss Retreat got myself and my family through a very difficult time so naturally I want to raise as much as possible for them.”
The rave is called Baby Loss Retreat & Zander Nation: HWFG!
It’s on the 27th August 6.30-11pm and will be held in Digital Nightclub, 13 Keith Street, Hamilton, ML3 7BL. Tickets are £20 (£2.15 admin fee) and all ticket sales go directly to the charity. It’s an 18+ night also.
