A Blantyre Church was amongst 9 community grant awards which received a share of £3,218.
St Andrew’s Church on Church Street were awarded £300 by councillors for a congregation outing, as the Hamilton Committee met to consider grant applications on 31st August 2022.
Other groups in Lanarkshire benefited too. Larkhall Heritage Group were granted £300 for equipment; St Andrew’s Church Blantyre received £300 for an outing; Larkhall Burns Club were funded £508 for equipment; MorphFit Gentle Movement Project Ltd, Hamilton picked up £600 for equipment, administration and publicity costs; Hamilton Bowling Club (Ladies Section) got £350 for an outing and entrance fees; Hamilton Bowling Club were given £300 for an outing; Hamilton Bowling Club Winter Section were funded £260 for an outing; Hamilton South Guilds Together received £300 for an outing; and Eddlewood Bowling Club Ladies section were granted £300 for an outing.
