Wow! What an incredible community we have here in Blantyre! Within 5 hours of posting, 29 wonderful, generous readers had kindly made donations covering our entire hosting and domain costs for 2023!! Importantly, this means our WordPress main website remains online throughout all of 2023, a platform to continue bringing you free, daily news about Blantyre and immediate areas around. Seeing donations come in so quickly says a lot about what people feel about Blantyre Telegraph and what it means.
Thank you to everybody who donated, recognising the valued news service we provide. It’s most sincerely appreciated and we will continue an uninterrupted, quality and accurate service on our main website, and of course on our Twitter page, this Facebook page and our various group pages.
It’s been lovely today also reading a few messages from those who donated about how much they appreciate Telegraph and rely upon it to find out whats going on in Blantyre. Just lovely.
