Teaching unions have notified their intention to hold industrial action next week.
As such, NO schools in South Lanarkshire will be open to pupils on Tuesday 28 February and Wednesday 1 March.
Please consider making alternative arrangements for childcare on these days. School breakfast clubs will not operate on the days of the strikes.
Please note that 52-week nurseries and stand-alone nurseries will be able to open as normal. This includes St Paul’s Nursery, Newton Farm Nursery and St Mary’s Nursery, Lanark, which although based in schools are not subject to closure.
All schools will re-open after the strike days on Thursday 2 March 2023.
