Today, Monday 15th May marks the start of Bookbug week 2023.
To celebrate, some of the children at Blantyre’s Calderside Nursery were out in the local community to leave books for some lucky people to find, read, share, keep or simply re-hide again for others.
A spokesperson for the nursery told Blantyre Telegraph, “A fantastic way to get children’s stories out to the community. The nursery also have other celebrations planned this week, like our fabulous Teddy Bears Picnic this Wednesday.”
