Well done to the AA, Police and First Bus for quickly clearing a broken down vehicle on Stonefield Road.
The vehicle stopped and blocked the road at Stonefield Road, (near the junction of Glasgow Road) which combined with the nearby lights caused some tailbacks.
However, this wasn’t deliberate. The man’s handbrake was unfortunately locked in the ‘on’ position and wouldn’t release meaning he couldn’t move the car. The blockage is now cleared and road reopened.
