An appeal has been launched by police after a two-car crash around 11pm on Tuesday, 20th June, on Glasgow Road in Blantyre, near the West End junction with Blantyre Farm Road.
The crash involved a Blue Volkswagen Touran and a blue hatchback vehicle, which did not stop following the collision. The driver of the Volkswagen and two passengers were taken to Hairmyers Hospital for treatment.
Police Detectives launched a hunt to track down the driver who made away as they ask for the public’s help. Police officer Sloan commented, “We are carrying out further enquiries to establish the full circumstances and trace the second vehicle.
“We are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time that may have witnessed the incident to come forward. If you witnessed the crash, have dash-cam footage or any information that could assist with our enquiries, please get in touch via 101, quoting incident number 4624 of 20 June.”
