Here’s wishing ‘Bonnie Blantyre’ volunteers the very best of luck in the coming days as judges from ‘Britain in Bloom’ descend upon Blantyre.
Blantyre is a finalist in the 2023 Britain in Bloom competition and thanks to the hard work over the last few months by local volunteers, the town has never looked so good! Blantyre is being judged tomorrow and on Monday. A stunning array of planters and pots are looking fantastic all along Main Street and Glasgow Road. Grass is cut and the council and other volunteers have been out to make sure the town looks its best.
Well done to everybody, (especially the Bonnie Blantyre bees and their pals!), and not forgetting all the council workers, individuals and businesses who have made this happen. It’s super clear to see how much work has gone into this.
