We were saddened to hear of the passing of local woman, Betty Johnstone who passed away in Hairmyres Hospital on 22nd October. She was 95.
Betty lived in Blantyre with her late husband Johnny. They had two children, June and Graham.
She lived a long and happy life, blessed with 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was very much loved by all her family and will be sadly missed.
The family have released funeral arrangements, which are for Thursday 2nd November at 11am at South Lanarkshire Crematorium. Then afterwards to Blantyre Miners Welfare at Calder Street.
