Local man, Shaun McNamara sadly passed away at young age of 23, after being taken seriously ill week past Sunday.
Even though Shaun, a goalkeeper was only at the Bardykes Rovers Football Club for a short period, he settled in well, bonded with his new teammates, trained and played well, enjoyed going fishing with some of the boys and the usual social side of amateur football.
Shaun wasn’t just a player, he was also a son, fiancé and most importantly a dad, as such Bardykes Rovers created this fundraiser to help support his young family at this difficult time of need.
