Blantyre Miners Welfare Indoor Bowling Club are looking to award an Employment Contract to a suitably qualified, enthusiastic individual for the role of Stadium Manager.
JOB OUTLINE – STADIUM MANAGER
The role of the Stadium Manager is to support the Trustees in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of Blantyre Miners Welfare Indoor Bowling Club.
CONTRACTORS
- Manage the Maintenance Contractors in all trades including job assessment, dates, liaison and inspection
- Liaise with and manage the process for carpet cleaning, Electrician, Pat Testing, lighting rods, key cutting, deliveries, annual roof and gutter maintenance, window cleaning and fire inspections
- Obtain quotes (minimum of 3) for any of the above when necessary
DOCUMENTATION
- Production and upkeep of Policies including Health & Safety, Risk Assessments, Accident Investigation and Reporting. Maintain Club Records (retain for 7 years)
Maintain Property Inventory, ensure Time Sheets are completed. Ensure Keyholder Template is up-to-date.
COMMUNICATION WITH TRUSTEES
- Produce Monthly Reports and attend part of Trustee Meetings to discuss outstanding matters.
CLUB FACILITIES
- To be responsible for the Induction of New Members, First Aid, Rink Bookings, Bowls and shoe lockers, lighting and heating, summer and winter timing and document shredding.
- Ensure Notice Boards are kept up-to-date
- Oversee the cleaning of toilets, changing rooms and stadium
- Make low level purchases (maximum of £50.00) above this will require prior approval of the Trustees
- Organise Social Events, Club Leagues, Promotion and filling of Rinks, club fixtures and match days in conjunction with match secretaries.
- Maximise usage of club facilities – development of a Junior Section and market and improve Ladies membership of the club.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; computer literate
- Clear thinker, who is able to set priorities and deliver objectives and plans
- Able to work on own, with direction and liaise with members committees.
- Attention to detail with regard to administrative/recording requirements
- Strong planning and organisational skills and ability to manage diaries (Time Management, Record Keeping and using Databases
- Ability to work well with the Trustees
- Clear ability to work within a specified budget
- Outgoing personality
- Familiar with social media and other digital platforms as tools to create engagement with the Communities of Blantyre and Burnbank
PERSONAL TERMS
FULL TIME POSITION, ANNUAL LEAVE 20 DAYS PLUS PUBLIC HOLIDAYS
REMUNERATION
Will be based on experience and qualifications, annual salary £22,295.00
