Following a rigorous recruitment process, Ms Julie Calder, currently head of Education at Renfrewshire Council has been appointed as the new Hear Teacher of Calderside Academy.
South Lanarkshire Council’s Stewart Nicolson, Head of Education (Hamilton Area) commented, in a letter going to parents and guardians, “I would like to express my sincere thanks to the representatives of the Parent Council who worked so effectively in partnership with the South Lanarkshire Council team throughout the selection process.”
“Parents and carers will enjoy a happy and productive relationship with the school under Ms Calder’s leadership. We will update you on her start date as soon as possible.”
