Those getting up early to head off last minute Christmas shopping may have been disappointed to find local retail parks already very busy as soon as they opened.
On one of the busiest shopping days of the year, carparks were almost full this morning, Saturday 23rd December at Hamilton and East Kilbride.
Kingsgate Retail Park in East Kilbride at 8.00am this morning looked like a busy Saturday afternoon as people scrambled to get their festive shopping done.
Marks and Spencers staff were shocked to see many vehicles outside their foodhall at 6am opening this morning. Shops overall up there are very busy this morning.
Heads up. Roads seem busier too. Maybe a day for shopping local!?
