Up to 270 Virgin supplied properties have lost their phone and broadband connection in the middle of Blantyre today.
The cause is a destroyed cabinet near the entrance to Merrylees Road, which appears to have been impacted by a vehicle. The outage has caused customers to lose their Virgin phone and Broadband service.
The incident was reported this morning, with Virgin’s engineers still attempting to fix this. It’s likely a new cabinet is needed and nearby residents have commented they’re not confident it’ll be fixed today.
