A monumental Euro 24 football game tonight as Scotland play Hungary.
The sun is out. The smell of BBQs already wafting over Blantyre this dinnertime in an exciting lead up to the big match. A win tonight secures Scotland either second or third – most likely third – and potentially a place in the last-16. Getting beat will mean it’s all over….not something to think about!
Mathematically, Scotland do not need to win tonight. A draw would still move them to two points which might – and that’s a big might – be enough to progress as one of the best third-placed teams. However, two points wasn’t enough in Euro 2016 or 2020.
