BSA Acquires Larkfield Hall

Blantyre Soccer Academy have announced that they’ve now taken possession of the former Larkfield hall and adjacent disused land in Blantyre.

The fences are up and ready to commence the construction work which will transform this asset into a fit for purpose, long term asset for all the community.

Following a successful planning application, Blantyre Soccer Academy’s proposals have now been approved with the formation of football pitches and sports facilities going ahead. 

Consent for the development to progress also includes the installation of new lighting, the refurbishment and extension of Larkfield Hall, formation of additional parking, the realignment and improvement of paths, erection of fencing and associated improvements.

BSA Chairperson Jimmy Whelan told Blantyre Telegraph, “BSA has worked tirelessly on the Larkfield project, overcoming every obstacle in our path. We’ve now taken possession of the hall ready to start the work.”
