A long established organisation is seeking your help. On Tuesday evening, 3rd September, an ’emergency meeting’ of the Blantyre Brownies took place at Blantyre Old Parish Church, High Blantyre..
They have a full pack of young girls who love the club SO much …..but unfortunately the organisation is currently at risk of the pack collapsing as they urgently need 1 or 2 adult leaders or volunteers.
The pack are seeking to raise awareness for their own survival (and to grow and thrive). It was the packs 100th year anniversary this year so the Blantyre Brownies are an established, successful organisation who hopefully will continue for a long time to come.
We’ve still to approach the Brownies for further comment and constructed this post from feedback from worried parents. Hoping we can help reach the right people, there must surely be volunteers out there who follow this page who can help. Just one dedicated, person would make the difference!
