Blantyre Hillwalking Club, who celebrate their 40th Anniversary later this year, have their latest Bus outing to Glencoe on Saturday 26th October, leaving Blantyre Miners Welfare at 07.30am.
On the day, there will be a variety of routes available, that will include both Munros and low-level walks to cater for a variety of fitness and experience levels. Within the club, they have several members who have completed their circuit of Munros (some more than once!) who are available to lend their experience to other members. In recent years, they have welcomed members with no Munro experience, who have gone on to become Munro Completers themselves!
Munros: Buachaille Etive Mor (Stob Dearg & Stob na Broige); Buachaille Etive Beag (Stob Dubh & Stob Coire Raineach); Bidean nam Bian & Stob Coire Sgreamhach; Sgurr na h-Ulaidh; Aonach Eagach (subject to weather: Meall dearg & Sgorr nam Fiannaidh)
Corbetts: Beinn a Chrualiaiste; Garbh Bheinn (Kinlochleven); Meall Ligiche
Grahams: Meall Mor; Sgorr na Ciche (Pap of Glencoe)
Plenty of lower level options.
All welcome. The bus costs £20, payable on the bus on the day of the trip. A change of clothes etc can be left on the bus, with return to Blantyre at around 9pm.
