In a month where we have privately given emergency food donations to several Blantyre families in need, we are delighted to see this wonderful initiative launched by the Hamilton & District Local Foodbank which we think will make a huge difference. An online shop has been added to our local foodbank!
As you may be aware Hamilton District Foodbank serves not only Hamilton, but Blantyre too. Now, adding ways on how you can help, they’ve partnered up with ‘Give Today’ to allow people to donate much needed stock items directly via a fantastic, new online shop. A great alternative for those who prefer to shop online, or prefer to donate items that are currently in demand. The idea is the food bank can populate the shop online with the items they most urgently need. You pick what you would like to donate and it will be delivered to them directly!
