Blantyre Hillwalking Club’s next coach outing will be to the Ochil Hills, leaving from Blantyre Miners Welfare at 8am on Saturday 23rd of November.
This is open to members and non members, cost is £20 payable on the bus. A change of clothes etc can be left on the bus.
The bus will travel via Blackford, Glendevon, Muckhart and the Hillfoots towns. This gives the widest range of route options.
These include: Blackford to Alva or Tillicoultry via Ben Cleuch, (16km, 731m);
Glendevon to Alva or Tillicoultry via the Glendevon dams and Ben Cleuch (15.5km, 608m);
Glendevon to Tillicoultry via Glen Sherup (12km, 400m) which can include Innerdownie and Whitewisp hills;
Glendevon to Tillicoultry via Glenquey, Dollar and the Devon Way (14.4km, 175m).
Return to Blantyre will be at around 8pm the same evening.
