Community Supports TACT Survey

There’s less than a week to go until a survey on community support for the TACT Hall closes on 1st December. Many local people have already taken part in the survey on the TACT Management Committee securing the future of the hall on a long term lease, as part of a Community Asset Transfer from South Lanarkshire Council.

Elizabeth Mulvanny, Chair, is delighted with the response so far. She said, “The Blantyre community has really gotten behind this, as we knew they would, and we’d like to thank all those who have completed our questionnaire up to now – we really appreciate it. The greater the participation, the stronger our application and chance of success will be. That’s why we’re encouraging anybody who hasn’t responded yet to do so by midnight on Sunday 1st December, please.  “For anyone who would like to know more, including how to apply for a Hall let, we’ve got a drop-in session coming up at the Hall on Sunday 1st December from 1.00pm to 3.00pm.”

“Everyone is welcome – whether you’re a local resident or a group interested in potentially sharing use of the hall, we’re keen to talk to you.”

The survey can be completed online via the attached link.    https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/TACTHALL

Hard copy survey questionnaires are available from the TACT Hall and at the drop-in sessions at the Hall this Sunday or by calling or texting 07551439622. Return envelopes will be provided.
