Weather Outlook

Tuesday will see a cold and crisp start to the day for Central Scotland, but with sunny spells. Cloud will tend to develop through the day, thickening in the afternoon with rain and hill snow arriving by the evening.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday

Rain and hill snow showers are expected during Tuesday night, clearing into Wednesday morning. Wednesday will start dry and largely sunny but cloud will build in through the afternoon. In the evening, heavy rain and blustery winds will push in from the west. Hill snow in places. Rain will continue on Thursday, turning patchy later on. Bright skies at first on Friday, cloudier later on.
