Weather Outlook

Clear spells and patchy cloud will develop in the second half of tonight (Wednesday into Thursday) but a few lingering showers will follow. Winds will ease.

Variable cloud cover and bright spells on Thursday morning, with isolated showers. Another rainy day in store. Heavy rain pushing in from the south-west in the early afternoon. Strong winds returning in the afternoon.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday

Friday will be dry at first with bright spells and variable cloud. Clouding over through the day with scattered showers moving in from the west, with sleet and snow on the hills. Turning drier overnight but Saturday may see the odd lingering shower at first, before turning dry and bright with sunny spells. A chilly north-westerly wind. Windy and bright on Sunday.
