Motherwell Concert Hall

Motherwell Concert Hall is set to be demolished following ongoing safety concerns related to the presence of RAAC (Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete) in its roof.

Located in the heart of Lanarkshire, the venue has remained closed since September last year, when inspections revealed that 95% of the roof contained the problematic material.

With repair and replacement costs estimated to exceed £10 million, the decision has been made to demolish the building, marking the end of its more than 50-year history.
