Take care this weekend if out and about driving in Hamilton.
Police officers will be carrying out speed checks in the Silvertonhill area of Hamilton this weekend as part of a festive season clampdown. They are working with partner agencies to try to reduce the number of drivers speeding.
A spokesperson for the police said, “If you witness any dangerous driving on the roads, please call Police Scotland on 101 when safe to do so.”
