We don’t normally post crime on the main news page here, saving that for our Supporters group, but in this instance, we thought we’d post a wider alert, given some idiot is prowling around gardens in the Village.
This was last night, Friday 13th December as a prowler illegally trespassed in a garden in The Village, Blantyre. Bold as brass around 7.55pm and bizarrely despite knowing there was cameras and automatic lights. Distinct shoes with yellow laces.
The lowlife was caught on CCTV at Beecroft Place and in another part of the village struggling to mask their appearance. Hopping over the fence after coming up the lane, angering nearby residents.
We absolutely despise thievery. Thinking you can just take things from hard working people. Such disgusting, selfish criminal behaviour will always be called out here.
It’s a reminder at this time of year to keep outbuildings firmly locked, ensure your doors and windows are locked on the run up to Christmas. It’s understood footage is passed to police.
