A reminder from the council this festive season. Small button batteries can cause serious harm and even death if children swallow them.
They’re found in a wide range of toys and household devices, including remote controls, car keys, scales and musical cards.
Make sure the battery compartment on a gadget or toy is securely closed and store batteries out of reach of children.
