The M8 will close overnight at Braehead.
Emergency repairs are to be carried out overnight on a burst sewer on the M8 near Braehead Shopping Centre in Glasgow. The westbound off-slip at junction 25A was closed from about 08:30 until 16:45 on Friday as the carriageway was flooded with contaminated water.
Traffic Scotland confirmed the issue had been caused by a fractured sewage pipe. Scottish Water said the junction would be closed from 22:00 to 06:00 for the duration of the repairs, which are expected to take about a week.
