Scottish Water is to raise its ‘vital water and wastewater services’ in Scotland for 2025/2026 by £44 per year.
Putting this into perspective, the average household bills will increase by around £3.68 per month, the equivalent of £85p a week or 12p a day.
The charges, which are set by the Scottish Water Board, are in line with the overall price cap set by the independent regulator for the current regulatory period. Worth noting too, the rise is significantly less than privatised water companies south of the border.
