How wonderful it’s been to see new energy and activities at the TACT Hall, Coatshill, Blantyre which for so long had been under threat of closure.
A new committee, motivated, local and dedicated to ensuring the hall is professionally and well run are awaiting the much anticipated outcome to see whether their community asset transfer will be successful.
With new classes and events underway we were interested last week to hear first hand, that the hall management could do with a new computer to help with bookings and to run reception.
SO…jumping to action, with the assistance of our Supporters Group, we decided to buy a brand new, state of the art laptop. Along with a laptop carry case, pre-loaded software and mouse, we were delighted to hand it into TACT hall, surprising staff, who were sincerely grateful.
We’ll be posting about all our December and January community donations in the coming days. Our Supporters Group continues to make a difference in the community and we once again offer our thanks to everybody who is subscribed to the full picture at Blantyre Telegraph.
